Sigma 35mm f/1.4 down on the farm…..

Following on Monday’s post, I thought I’d check in with an update.  I had a wonderful time down on the farm with the most gorgeous family and I hope got some pictures that they will be pleased with!  I can’t post the results of the lens as this shoot was a surprise for Daddy! But I can say that the lens performed beautifully.  The lighting conditions were changeable as we moved around from periods of bright sunshine to a forray into a cow shed for some pictures on the tractor – the lens adapted to all situations and was fast to focus.  It also gave me great versatility – allowing me to take wider environmental portraits to more close-up portraiture.  The lens also produced soft creamy complexions and beautiful bokeh.  I’m currently working in Lightroom putting the finishing touches on the images and cannot wait to share them with Mum!
